Rockaway Strong Magnet

The sands of Rockaway beach tell many tales; that of the families who have lived
there for generations, stories of surfers discovering new adventure in the ocean's
waves, traditions of travelers who visit during the summer season and tying all of
these stories together is a tale of survival.  The Rockaway Beaches have survived
one of the most brutal storms to ever touch down on its sands, Hurricane Sandy.  
The collective strength of the Rockaway residents have kept the beaches alive for
new stories to be told and traditions to be made!!
